Drift to Death – Zombie Girl Series

A three-part illustration series featuring a zombie girl and her car in a chaotic drift journey — from full-throttle fun to total destruction. Each piece captures a different stage of her reckless drive:

“Destroy All Cones” — She begins the season with fresh energy, hitting the track and smashing through cones in wild drifts.

“Make It a Missile!” — The excitement grows, and the car shows its first scars from her fearless (and careless) racing.

“Better Luck Next Season” — The finale, where the car is completely wrecked. The zombie girl stands calm, holding her detached head, unbothered — a symbol of her undead spirit and dark humor.

The car model appears to be inspired by the Mazda RX-7 Savanna (FC3S), stylized for a retro, comic-inspired aesthetic.
The overall tone mixes ’80s street racing, zombie apocalypse, and anime-style boldness, using limited palettes and expressive typography to match the high-octane chaos of the theme.

Commissioned illustration created for a private client on Fiverr (2023). Displayed here for portfolio purposes only.

The season begins — our fearless zombie drifter hits the track with a clean ride and an unstoppable grin. Cones beware — this RX-7 isn’t here to play safe.

The drift goes wild — smoke, screech, and a half-wrecked beauty still fighting for one more run. She’s reckless, but that’s the fun of it. The road belongs to those who dare to ruin their tires.

After a season of chaos, our zombie racer stands beside what’s left of her car — head in hand, but still smiling. The ride’s over, but the spirit of drift never dies.
